Independent travelers and smaller agents will benefit from the product
Dubai, UAE - Planet Travels & Tours, one of the leading travel management companies in the UAE, will highlight the completion of its B2B online reservation system for independent travelers and will present new features that will allow smaller agents to benefit from the product, in this year's Arabian Travel Market, the Middle East's largest travel and trade exhibition.
Last year the group introduced the reservation system to existing and prospective customers including the media but the group has completed the program and is now ready to accommodate reservations for independent travelers. Its new features such as the customer XML for key accounts and secure payment gateway for credit card payments will allow event smaller agents to benefit from Planet's products such as sightseeing tours and safaris.
Georges M. Moussa, Chairman, Planet Group, said: "Planet Travel & Tours will promote its quality services for FIT, Leisure Groups and MICE and focus on quality in a very competitive market. The message will be optimistic, that we are back to track but with a significant shift in the source markets since the recession. We will target emerging new markets such as Latin America, especially Brazil and new markers in China after the opening of the Beijing office and of course, the GCC market."
Moussa added that online booking is increasing from year to year so the group is continuously working on making its own system more sophisticated and user friendly.
The team will also focus on the leisure and MICE groups with Planet offering fresh programs and packages to visitors such as combining Dubai with a stay in other emirates, mainly in Abu Dhabi, in order to make the visits more attractive.
Participating in ATM for the 17th time, Planet Group will be located at the Department of Tourism & Commerce Marketing (DTCM) pavilion, Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority (ADTA) pavilion and Ministry of Tourism Lebanon pavilion. The Planet Group team will be present to give a live demonstration of the B2B Online Reservation System with all new features and will answer any questions about the program.
