A Touch Says So Much: Aiming at Generating Awareness and Education amongst Mothers
Jeddah - Pampers, the world's leading childcare brand, has launched it's "Sensitive Wipes" campaign across the Arabian Peninsula, aimed at generating awareness and spreading education amongst mothers to help them take a big step forward in providing better protection for their baby's sensitive skin.
Touch is very important for infants. In their early days, it is through touch that newborns communicate; therefore this stresses the importance of providing them with the right kind of care for their sensitive skin. 'Pampers Sensitive Wipes' gently cleanses a baby's skin and leaves it feeling silky soft with ingredients such as chamomile extracts that helps restore the skin's natural PH balance.
In-store and in-mall activities are being conducted to demonstrate the benefits of 'Pampers Sensitive Wipes', as well as to communicate and comfort consumers who believe that the baby's skin is sensitive and needs special care, that babies can now not only feel fresh and clean but also enjoy rash free skin and greater comfort. Live demonstrations are taking place to drive the reassurance that only "Pampers Sensitive Wipes" don't cause rash and irritation as it's clean and yet safe on the baby's skin since it contains natural ingredients, perfume-free and alcohol-free, and dermatologically tested.
The campaign's objective is to educate parents who want a convenient and gentle means to cleanse their baby. Wipes are viewed by many consumers as necessary, practical and a hygienic way to clean baby's skin during diaper changes, especially outside the home changes which is frequent nowadays with current lifestyles.
Abdullah Tashkandi, Pampers Assistant Marketing Manager, AP commented: ''Pampers cares for babies' development through their various stages of growth. With that in mind, we pair up with experts from around the world to ensure that our products respond to the baby's various needs in the different stages of their development.''
The condition and sensitivity of infant skin has always been a challenge, results from several clinical studies and consumer tests done by Pampers including a clinical study on babies with atopic dermatitis such as eczema and in-use test with newborns confirmed that 'Sensitive Wipes' are gentle enough to be used on sensitive skin, even that of newborn babies.
Dr. Majed Al Sayed from the Paediatric Advisory at Erfan Hospital in Jeddah, said: ''Discomfort felt by newborns and caused by an unwanted rash can greatly affect a baby's development. It is imperative that discomfort must be minimized in the early stages by using cleansing products that are gentle on baby's sensitive areas.''
With a baby's wellbeing in mind, Pampers proudly introduces 'Sensitive Wipes' to the region to ensure happy healthy babies and at all times.
