Leading company organizes event to help Omani users bring their designs to reality faster

Omnix International, a leading distributor of digital software imaging solutions, threw the spotlight on its latest range of powerful Autodesk design solutions at a specially hosted event called 'Autodesk Solutions Day' held today (June 4, 2012) at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Muscat. The Oman event, which is the third in the Autodesk Solutions Day series, is being held to showcase the enhancements in the Autodesk 2013 portfolio, engineering and entertainment software featuring in-depth creation suites and latest design innovations, to more than 150 users from 13 companies in Muscat. Omnix International is the authorized Autodesk distributor for the Middle East region. The event was also attended by key Omnix partners like the Industrial Management Technology & Contracting (IMTAC), Technograph, which is a division of the Suwaidi Group of Companies and APTUS.

According to Omnix senior executives, the event was tailor made specifically for Omani users from the building, infrastructure, and manufacturing industries. 'Autodesk Solutions Day' was highlighted with AUTOCAD presentations and key breakout sessions that focussed on the mechanical, architecture, and civil segments--with a strong concentration on how users can bring their design ideas into reality faster than ever.

Each session during the event was positioned to offer attendees key insight into new product features and how to best leverage these in unique work environments. Software showcased during the event were the Autodesk Building Design Suite 2013, which includes Architectural design, MEP Engineering, Structural Design; Autodesk Navisworks Manage 2013 and the Autodesk Infrastructure Design Suite, which is composed of Autodesk Civil 3D, Autodesk Map 3D, and Autodesk Infrastructure Modeler & Server.
