Dubai – United Arab Emirates : NorthLadder welcomes Alexander Laryutin as the new Chief Technology Officer (CTO). NorthLadder is the region’s only auction-driven, online selling platform for second-hand electronics. As the startup continues to expand its presence in the region, Alexander’s expertise will help to further accelerate growth.

With 20 years of experience as a software engineer and manager, Alexander’s main focus up until now has been on systems for financial services, e-commerce and affiliate marketing. In his new role as CTO, Alexander will help to develop NorthLadder’s strategy for technological resources. He will verify that technologies are used efficiently, profitably and securely, while also ensuring users can both navigate and operate the platform with ease.

In his previous role, Alexander was the Head of Architecture and Agile Transformation at DBS Bank, Singapore. He was responsible for implementing and maintaining the most efficient system design in order to uphold the company’s position as industry leaders in the consumer finance segment. Prior to this, other notable roles include the three years he spent as Head of Engineering for Paymaya, one of the Philippines’ leading digital wallets.

Mihin Shah, the Chief Revenue Officer at NorthLadder recognises Alexander as a valuable addition to the team, commenting: “with such extensive global experience, Alexander is well placed to assist NorthLadder in building a world class global platform”.
