Sensodyne launches True White - its new whitening toothpaste for people with sensitive teeth

New independent research commissioned by Sensodyne has revealed that 83% of adults in KSA are currently facing issues with sensitive teeth, with 36% claiming it is making them unhappy and 65% saying it is directly impacting their eating habits.

The research, conducted by YouGov, also shows that 79% of adults in KSA are worried at some level about how their teeth look, with more women truly happy with their smile than men. It has unveiled that Saudi Arabia is a guilt-ridden country when it comes to how they feel about their teeth, with three in five adults feeling guilty about the condition and look of their teeth.

The way you feel about your teeth can have a huge impact on your daily life; for example, nearly 40% claim to not show their teeth or smile in photographs. More women than men appear to be truly happy about their smile, with men being more likely to un-tag themselves from Facebook photographs than woman due to not liking how their teeth look. New consumer habits also revealed that 33% of adults gain their oral care habits from their parents, 26% from their families and 20% from their dentist.

"In KSA alone, 66 percent of adults with sensitive teeth are actively seeking to have whiter teeth. Surprisingly, our research showed us that one in four adults buy two types of toothpaste - one for sensitive teeth and one for whitening.
