As a precautionary measure, and since Nestl's utmost priority is consumer's safety, Nestl Middle East has announced the completion of a voluntary recall of KIT KAT CHUNKY CARAMEL 65g, produced in Australia with Best Before dates up to and including 14 February 2008, from the Middle East market to be replaced with new products.
The voluntary recall has been conducted after Nestl Australia Ltd discovered affected products of KIT KAT CHUNKY CARAMEL 65g with Best Before dates up to and including 14 February 2008 due to the possibility that some products may contain small pieces of plastic. The origin of these small pieces of plastic has been identified to be the production process.
The KIT KAT CHUNKY CARAMEL 65g is available in the following GCC and Levant Markets: Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Jordan and Lebanon. All concerned authorities in the relevant countries have been notified accordingly.
Nestl Middle East assures its consumers that no other KIT KAT products in the Middle East are affected.
