Dubai, 13th, September 2009 - The Dubai Business Women Council today announced its partnership with naseba for the Women in Leadership Forum (WIL Forum), organised under the patronage of HRH Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein, wife of HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. The Forum will take place from the 25th-27th October 2009 in Dubai, hosting up to 500 leading women politicians, business leaders, policy makers, professionals and entrepreneurs from all over the world.

"The Women in Leadership Forum is the perfect platform to help Arab women expand their role in the business world," stated Raja Easa Al-Gurg, President, Dubai Business Women Council. "The Council continuously supports women who seek to achieve their ambitions to become successful businesswomen and leaders. Our main concern has always been to motivate women to be productive members of both society and the economy. We believe that initiatives such as the Women in Leadership Forum will definitely contribute to the empowerment of Arab women in this region."

The Dubai Business Women Council proactively encourages participation of women in various economic sectors. It seeks to enhance their role by encouraging their participation in investment activities, providing training programs and conducting studies to help them become successful businesswomen. In this respect, naseba created the WIL Forum, an educational and networking platform for women leaders in the region to discover their true potential and explore business opportunities.

"It is a great pleasure to receive the support of the Dubai Business Women Council," Sophie Le Ray, CEO of naseba. "With the WIL Forum, our aim is to set trends and leverage women's participation in the global business world. All attendees will share experiences, ideas, initiatives, and gain inspiration from the success stories of the world's most influential women."

The latest speakers include: Fatima Al Jaber, COO, Al Jaber Group; Shimi Shah, CEO, Forsa; Raja Easa Al-Gurg, President, Dubai Business Women Council; Salma Hareb, CEO, Economic Zones World; and Heba Nasser Al Kharafi, Ambassador to HRH The Prince of Wales for the Middle East.

Keynote addresses and plenary sessions will address the challenges of today's economic climate as well as case studies about the success of women in male-dominated sectors and the need to develop an education-based initiative for women in the Arab World.
