Re-imaged Saar Restaurant Inaugurated as the 1st of a Series of Next Generation Designed Restaurant
McDonald's Bahrain, the leading Quick Service Restaurant Chain in the Kingdom, launched their 1st re-imaged restaurant at Saar in line with McDonald's Corporation's "Next Generation" design initiative - a global initiative to create an enhanced customer experience with contemporary design and a premium quality environment.
Situated at the Najibi Center opposite Saar roundabout, the newly re-imaged restaurant was inaugurated at a grand re-opening ribbon cutting ceremony on 4th April 2013, in the presence of the Guest of Honor, the Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), Dr. Essam Fakhro in addition to other guests and members of the community.
Commenting on McDonald's Bahrain's adoption of the "Next Generation" design, Mr. Abdulla Adel Fakhro, Director of Fakhro Restaurant Company, said, "It really comes down to value for money and this is what our customers know us for. Now not only can our customers enjoy our great food at affordable prices but they can also enjoy it while sitting in a modern, luxurious, and comfortable restaurant. We have invested in an upgrade for both the interior and the exterior of this branch and the materials and design we have used are of superior quality. We want our customers to feel like McDonald's is no longer just an eatery where they rush in and out, but a place where they want to stay, relax and spend quality time with friends and family."
McDonald's Saar incorporates the franchise's global "next generation" design concept which includes the use of wooden tables, grand chairs and stools made with high quality leather, wood panelling and walls newly painted in muted oranges, yellows and subtle greens. The design elevates the image of the restaurant beyond a quick service restaurant and into a high class destination with a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.
During the event, the invitees and guests were given a tour of the restaurant and shown the new design features as well as being invited to breakfast. Moreover, a number of children's activities took place later which included face painting, coloring activity, free balloons, giveaways for kids, and character appearances.
McDonald's Saar accommodates a seating capacity of over 100 people and operates 24 hours a day, offering both drive-through and delivery service as well. It also features a separate party room and play area to host birthday celebrations.
"Customers are always a top priority at McDonald's and 100% satisfaction is our prime objective. We made it a point not to close the branch during remodeling and completed the refurbishment in phases so business was not interrupted and our customers were still able to enjoy our food. On this occasion, I would also like also to announce that all McDonald`s restaurants in Bahrain are now operating 24 hours a day and offering McDonald's breakfast from 6 am till 11 am daily," Mr. Abdulla Adel Fakhro added.
McDonald's Bahrain has constantly strived to meet high standards in their quality of food, friendly service, and cleanliness which helps us continue to attract and retain loyal customers. The "Next Generation" initiative is one of several steps forward in their endeavor to enhance McDonald's image in customers' minds and give their customers the best that they have to offer.
