48,000 square meter plot increases Mannai's Qatari and regional manufacturing and repair network
Doha, Qatar, 5 May 2010: Mannai Corporation Q.S.C. announced the signing of a contract with Al Alia Trading & Contracting Co. for the construction of a new facility on 48,000 square meters of land in Ras Laffan Industrial City to be operated by Mannai's industrial manufacturing subsidiary.
Mannai's new state of the art Ras Laffan facility, designed by Qatar Design Consortium, is scheduled for completion by mid-2011 and will boast advanced computer-aided machining capabilities, increased material handling capacity and computer assisted design of replacement parts.
Mannai's project in Ras Laffan aims to increase the industry leaders' delivery of services to support Qatar's major oil & gas operators, in addition to leading shipping, construction, electricity & water companies.
The fully equipped, multi-million dollar Ras Laffan facility includes Machine Shop, Welding and Fabrication Shop, Electrical Shop, Mechanical Shop and Special Processes - all meeting stringent quality assurance standards.

Mannai's new Ras Laffan facility adds to the company's existing 20,000 square meter Salwa facility, strengthening their competitive advantage by creating a combined 68,000 square meter manufacturing network.
