Dubai, 18 December 2011: Lloyds TSB in the Middle East, one of the UAE's leading international banks, has today announced the appointment of Bobby Liddell as the new Head of its Corporate Banking business in the region. Reporting directly to Richard Musty, Managing Director of Lloyds TSB in the Middle East, Bobby will be responsible for leading the bank's growth initiatives for the region across the Corporate Banking segment. 

Commenting on the announcement, Richard Musty said:  

"Bobby brings a wealth of experience to our corporate banking sector and a solid knowledge of the business, having worked for Lloyds TSB in the UK and Middle East. We are looking forward to working more closely with him to further develop and grow the corporate business."

With fifteen years of corporate banking experience Bobby has spent most of his career as an employee of Halifax Bank of Scotland. He joined Lloyds Banking Group in January 2009 and moved to Dubai in 2010 to undertake the role of Senior Manager, Corporate. His key responsibilities included supporting the Head of Corporate Banking in managing the Corporate Team.  His new position is seen as a natural extension of his most recent role.
