Abu Dhabi, UAE; November 24, 2009 - One of the capital's icons, Le Méridien Abu Dhabi hotel has been recognized for its long standing efforts in providing both excellent service and a home for many business guests and tourists for 30 years since its opening in 1979. 

In a lavishing ceremony yesterday at ADNEC, Le Méridien Abu Dhabi was awarded The Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award in Silver for Tourism. Accepting the award was Mr. Jean Pierre Trabut the General Manager of Le Méridien Abu Dhabi hotel, Mr. Iskandar Al Junaibi the Protocol Director, Mr. Talal Atturkhan the HR Director and Ms. Dania Malki the Marketing & PR Manager.  The Awards were handed to all the winners by His Highness Sheikh Hazaa Bin Zayed. Attending the ceremony was H.E. Saif Mohamed Al Hajeri Chairman of ADNH; Mr. Richard Riley CEO; Mr. Khalfan Al Shamsi, Marketing & Public Relations Manager. ADNH is the owning company of Le Méridien Abu Dhabi hotel.
