Organisers, Fashion Way, lines up over 45 exhibitors to display and retail latest designs in clothing and accessories for discerning Arabic women with focus on fashion in GCC

Dubai, February 27, 2013: A first-of-its kind fashion extravaganza - Kuwait Fashion Expo - will showcase and retail contemporary Arabic women's wear and accessories, including designer wear in a three day debut expo Kuwait Fashion Expo, in Dubai, from February 27-1 March 2013.
Addressing a press conference, Fashion Way, organisers of the Kuwait Fashion Expo said the show which coincides with the Kuwait National Day celebrations seeks to revive and revitalize the Arabic women's fashion consciousness without compromising on cultural sensitivities.
"This is the first time that a show which brings together designer collections and daily wear fashion clothing and accessories created by GCC-based designers and production houses have been brought under one roof," said Mr. Abdullah Al Ajmy, General Manager, Fashion Way, a Kuwait-based enterprise.
He said Fashion Way has selected Dubai as the venue for the expo because the emirate is the fashion hub of the region where new trends in lifestyle are in high demand. "We are debuting in Dubai with Kuwait Fashion Expo and our aim is to continue with the exhibition every year bringing new collections to the discerning Arabic women," he said.
Kuwait Fashion Expo will bring together an ensemble of over 45 exhibitors, including well-known designers who will showcase a wide variety of their collections that are modern yet in line with the cultural sensitivities of GCC and the region.
The expo will showcase different varieties of Abayas, Jallabias, ornamental accessories and other fashion paraphernalia that will have the stamp of originality produced by designers predominantly from Kuwait, Dubai and other GCC states.
"The idea is to highlight the uniqueness and fashion talents of the GCC in an exclusive manner that brings to the limelight the indigenous spirit of fashion of the Gulf countries," Mr. Al Ajmy said.
In addition the show will also seek to showcase the talents of Kuwaiti women in the world of fashion and the rising acceptance of their collections in the region and across the world among traditional and modern Arabic women audience.
The collections at the Kuwait Expo targeted at women in the age group of 21- 55. "The USPs of this premium expo include handmade dresses as well as limited designs that will ensure that each of the collection of dresses has only one copy of its kind making it an exclusive acquisition for the customer," Mr. Al Ajmy said.
The expo which will be officially inaugurated by the Consul General of Kuwait is expected to attract women diplomats and fashion aficionados at the high-end of the market spectrum.
The Kuwait-based Fashion Way was established in 2012 first as a TV production company, the Art Way, and later it started organizing successful shows such as Ramadan Gallery, Bridal shows, shows targeted at youth and children etc...
