Dubai, UAE, 01 March 2005 -- Patrik Eriksson, Vice President - Kodak's Dental Systems will be speaking during the Arab Dental Conference and Exhibition (AEEDC) 2005 on the 2nd March at 11am in the Sheikh Rashid Hall C at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre.  Eriksson will address the revolutionary transition of analog to digital technology in the dental field, its impact on the industry and future implications. Within this he will touch upon digital dentistry and what is generally meant about 'going digital' as well as covering aspects like digital photography, dental digital radiography, image storage and practice management software systems.

With his extensive knowledge of dental management software and imaging solutions, Eriksson was chosen to head Kodak Dental Systems International PracticeWorks division after its successful integration of digital radiography, practice management software technology and services when it acquired PracticeWorks Inc. and Trophy Radiologies, S.A. in October 2003.  Eriksson has a Master of Science in Business Administration from Stockholm School of Economics, Sweden.

"The healthcare industry has grown tremendously in the region and with it comes the need to provide improved services for patient care and at the same time assist dental professionals to better manage their practices. Eriksson will offer his expertise and insight when he addresses these technological developments in the dental industry and what it ultimately contributes to the dental community," said Magdi M. Fadel, Kodak Dental Systems EAMER Regional Marketing Director.

At AEEDC, Kodak will feature its extraoral digital imaging systems - the KODAK 8000C (Digital Panoramic and Cephalometric System) and the KODAK 8000 Digital Panoramic System. In addition, visitors can also preview the Kodak 2000 Intraoral X-Ray System, Kodak RVG 6000 and RVG 5000 Digital Radiography Systems.  Building on its success with digital capture technology, Kodak will also feature its DX6490 Dental Digital Camera whereby with a touch of a button, images can be transferred to any device through Kodak's dental practice management applications.
