Dubai, UAE - Eastman Kodak Company will be showcasing their latest EasyShare digital cameras and introducing Kodak's innovative new photo printers at GITEX Dubai 2005.

Having already gained the No.1 position in Digital Camera sales across the U.S, Kodak is all geared to launch its latest digital camera range for the Middle East at GITEX Dubai 2005. The highlight of this year's participation will be the introduction of the stylish and sleek Kodak EasyShare V-series collection of digital cameras along with the high zoom range from the Kodak EasyShare P-series.

GITEX visitors will also see the highly acclaimed and anticipated Wi-Fi Camera from Kodak, which has already received fantastic reviews for its breakthrough features. The Kodak EasyShare-One will be on display at Kodak's stand.

The V-series include the Kodak EasyShare V530 and Kodak EasyShare V550 models. These 5.0 MP cameras are the new stylish and colorful zoom digital cameras that appeal to the next generation of snap shooters. Available in Red, Pink, Silver and Black the V530 is not only good looking but also includes the latest features like recording VGA video quality at 30 frames per second with image stabilization, 3Xoptical zoom, on-camera picture editing and a 5cm color display.

With a more sophisticated edge, the V550 zoom camera holds a larger 6.4cm color display and 170 degree viewing angle. Available in black & silver color, the V550 allows prints from video and uses MPEG4 compression for longer high quality video. On-camera editing features include red-eye reduction, cropping and blurry picture alert.

The P-Series currently consists of two models, which are engineered for those who have an eye for beauty and a passion for precision. The Kodak EasyShare P850 is a 5.1MP high Zoom camera with 12X optical zoom and advanced video features including on camera video editing, image stabilization and a host of other features.

The Kodak EasyShare P880 is the 8.0 MP camera with a 24mm wide angle and a large 2.5" outdoor/indoor display screen. Equipped with an all-glass Schneider-Kreuznach lens, the P880 is unmatched for its video quality, on-camera features, flexibility and attracts the serious photography with its RAW file format feature.

Using the renowned Kodak color science technology, the new range of Kodak cameras promise stunning, accurate color pictures with the ease of use that is now synonymous with the Kodak EasyShare cameras.

The other major highlight from Kodak this GITEX is the launch of its two all new photo printers, the Kodak EasyShare PP300 and Kodak EasyShare PP500. For the first time, Kodak has printers that can be used to print real Kodak pictures from virtually any digital camera, irrespective of the brand. The two photo printers announce the transition of Kodak beyond the Kodak arena since the photo printers can be used with any pictbridge enabled digital camera brand, in fact the PP500 allows printing via Bluetooth, WiFi (optional), memory sticks, USB flash drives, any digital storage card to print real Kodak waterproof pictures in 60 seconds. It also has in-built picture enhancing features like red-eye reduction, cropping and color enhancement, as well as the world's largest 3.5" LCD display in the photo printer category that allows viewing the pictures before printing.

For shoppers, Kodak's local distributor Emirates Photo Marketing will be running exclusive promotions with discounted prices on most of the Kodak digital cameras and printer docks at GITEX Shopper 2005. The Kodak stand at GITEX is located in Hall 2, stand number A2-3.
