WEGA Theatre Packages To Be Available At Jumbo Showrooms Across UAE

Jumbo Electronics’ Chairperson Mrs Vidya Chhabria along with His Excellency Mohamed Ali Alabbar, Director General of the Department of Economic Development, have officially opened a spectacular new Sony WEGA Theatre floor at Jumbo House in Dubai.
 
Visitors to ‘Jumbo House’ will have the opportunity to experience ten different WEGA theatre packages on the special floor that has been created by Jumbo in association with Sony Gulf.
 
Mrs. Chhabria and Mr. Ali Alabbar also formally re-opened the refurbished ground floor of Jumbo House, which has undergone a major facelift in preparation for the Dubai Shopping Festival, of which Jumbo Electronics is a key sponsor for the eighth consecutive year.
 
Jumbo Electronics’ Chairperson Mrs. Vidya Chhabria said: “With the Sony WEGA Theatre, Sony and Jumbo are changing the entire home theatre buying experience. This is being launched for the first time in the GCC and here at Jumbo House our customers have the opportunity to sit down and truly experience the future of home theatre solutions.”
 
H.E Mohamed Ali Alabbar, Director General of the Department of Economic Development, added: “This is an excellent development by one of Dubai’s leading companies who have helped pioneer the way consumer electronics is sold and marketed, throughout the UAE.

Sony Gulf Managing Director Mr. Y Yokota said that Sony was delighted that its long-standing partnership with Jumbo has led to the creation of a wonderful facility for customers to truly experience the Sony WEGA theatre packages.
 
“The components of the WEGA Theatre products combine advanced Sony technologies and stylish designs in all audio video related categories. From the high-end audiovisual systems to the uncomplicated all in one setups, the new WEGA theatre range offers products conceived, created and combined purely to heighten your enjoyment,” he added.
 
The WEGA Theatre package has been launched by Sony Gulf FZE, the regional headquarters of Sony Corporation for the Middle East and Africa, to meet the ever-increasing demand for Home Entertainment Solutions. The package is positioned as a range of personalized Home Entertainment system, designed to suit the consumers’ lifestyle and budgets.
 
Comprising a mix of categories from wide screen televisions and DVD players to A/V receivers and surround speaker systems, it caters to a wide variety of needs. The WEGA theatre packages on display also feature Digital Cinema Sound (DCS). DCS is a proprietary sound field control and virtual three-dimensional technology that has the capabilities to recreate acoustics of Hollywood dubbing stages in a person’s own home.
 
With the launch of the WEGA Theatre, Sony and Jumbo Electronics aim to change the way customers purchase consumer electronics products. For the first time, Sony will help consumers design a personal Home Theatre package based on their specific needs.
 
Conceptualized and built around the theme “DESIGNED AROUND YOU”, every WEGA theatre product has been designed to complement not just each other, but also the delicate nuances of the purchaser’s own home décor. The entire range of WEGA theatre models are available in all Jumbo showrooms and select dealers in the UAE.
