The Japan-Saudi Arabia Industrial Cooperation Task Force (TF), a joint national project between the Kingdom and Japan, dispatched the delegation from Japanese logistics and water treatment solution providers, headed by Mr. Takashi Mitsuka, Vice Secretary General of TF, had a second joint technical workshop with experts from Saudi Industrial Property Authority (MODON) at its head quarter in Riyadh on 25 Feb.

Representatives from Japanese logistics companies such as Kintetsu World Express, Nippon Express, and Sankyu discussed on the opportunity of logistics business inside the MODON industrial cities.  At the same time, they had a networking with experts from local logistics companies who have been invited by MODON for future partnership.

Simultaneously, the professionals from Japanese water treatment solution providers such as Hitachi Plant Technology, Kobelco Eco-Solutions, and Torishima Pump had technical presentations, and discussed about the project which MODON has been planning.

At the workshop, Eng. Saleh Ibrahim Al-Rasheed, Director General of MODON, welcomed the delegation and showed his much appreciation and expectation for future cooperation, referring the MOU signed among MODON, Japan Cooperation Center for the Middle East (JCCME), and TF at the occasion of "Saudi-Japan Business Opportunity Forum" held in Feb 2012 in Tokyo.
