Company to highlight the iTRACS Physical Layer Manager solution for the region's enterprises and networking professionals
iTRACS Corporation, a leader in infrastructure management solutions, will exhibit its Physical Layer Manager suite of network infrastructure management solutions for regional enterprises and networking professionals at the 26th Gulf Information Technology Exhibition (GITEX) which begins on November 18. iTRACS software products will be available at the Z-Q30 booth in Zabeel Hall at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre where the IT fair will run through November 22.
iTRACS provides enterprise software that allows organisations to establish and manage best practices for changes within an enterprise network or data centre infrastructure, so that executives can strategically direct, deploy and manage their facilities, networking and operations personnel and assets.
iTRACS will showcase its Internet-enabled, standards-based enterprise software for new and existing network infrastructures called iTRACS Physical Layer Manager and iTRACS enhanced software modular-based add-ons which include iTRACS iDiscover to self-discover the devices on your network and provide physical location information; iTRACS iLogin to monitor event logs related to any number of machines on a network; and iTRACS iPBX which can maintain, manage and document the location of voice devices and link the records to network information. These products will be showcased at GITEX Dubai 2006, the Middle East's largest IT trade show.
Saket Subramaniam, Regional Sales Director, Middle East, iTRACS said: "GITEX offers us one of the most effective platforms to showcase iTRACS' state-of-the-art infrastructure management solutions before an impressive audience of trade visitors, corporates and small and medium businesses, pursue channel partnerships and network with vendors. In modern business enterprises, the LAN is being used for a wide variety of systems, making the network mission critical to most companies. Network infrastructures are growing in size and the complexity and speed of networks continues to grow at the same time. In such a scenario, reducing downtime and achieving a high rate of moves, adds, changes (MACs) becomes imperative. The iTRACS solution provides one of the most effective tools for achieving these objectives."
"Large organisations face severe security challenges today, such as stolen identities, missing customer data and network breaches. iTRACS Physical Layer Manager gives companies the assurance that they are managing the often-neglected physical layer and the 'last mile' of their networks. By doing so, they protect their corporate assets and build confidence with valued customers, differentiators in a very competitive marketplace," said Simon Holland, iTRACS General Manager, EMEA.
iTRACS serves global customers in financial services, healthcare, energy, manufacturing, education and retail among other industries in over 35 countries, and has deployed more than 5,000 server licenses. iTRACS has recently announced plans to open a corporate office in Dubai and offers sales and support services to regional clients through its distribution partners in the UAE.
