Dubai, 20 October, 2010 - Invader Technologies - the Japanese vehicle tuning company and car customiser - has celebrated the official Middle Eastern launch of the Invader L60 at Dubai's The Meydan Hotel.
The launch - which took place on 19 October - saw leading journalists and media representatives taking the car through its paces on Dubai's roads.
According to Invader Co-Founder and Managing Director, Takashi Tanii: "We're proud to introduce the Invader L60 to the Middle Eastern press and public and we look forward to establishing a strong and prosperous relationship with the media, our agents, buyers and drivers alike."
The Invader L60 - based on the Lexus LX570 - combines aggressive, primal tuning with Japanese engineering precision. The wide-body exterior boasts a 5.7L V8 engine powered up from the stock 383 to 600 horsepower with a specially crafted supercharger and carbon-tipped performance exhaust system.
Boasting a fully customised interior, manually tuned suspension settings, a top-of-the-range heavy duty brake system, and forged multi-piece 22-inch wheels, the Invader L60 provides a luxurious and thrilling driving experience, taking a driver from 0 to 100km in just 5.5 seconds. Invader will only manufacture 100 of these top-of-the-range vehicles.
Talking about the Invader L60, Tanii said: "Invader Technologies offers unparalleled customisation options for the Lexus LX570 with our Lexus L60 tuning programme. With Invader's extensive range of performance, utility and aesthetic upgrades, owners of this powerful vehicle are free as never before to personalise their ride."
The Invader L60 has already been showcased at the Middle East Motor Tuning Show 2010 (MEMTS) in Sharjah, but will continue touring the region at the Motor Show Oman (1-4 December); the Riyadh Motor Show (5-9 December); the Abu Dhabi International Motor Show (7-11 December), the Saudi International Motor Show (26-30 December) and the Qatar Motor Show (26-29 January, 2011).
