DUBAI, United Arab Emirates, 14th July, 2015

Infoblox Inc. (NYSE:BLOX), the network control company, has promoted  Alexander Foroozandé to the position of Regional Channel Manager, Middle East, Turkey & Africa. In his new role, Alexander will be tasked with developing and executing a regional channel strategy focused on partner certification, premier security partner recruitment, and direct and indirect channel enablement programs.

Alexander was previously the company's Regional Sales Manager for the Middle East and will continue reporting to Cherif Sleiman, General Manager, Middle East & Africa (MEA) at Infoblox who said, "Infoblox is uniquely differentiated and therefore well positioned to continue its leadership in the market. Alexander has demonstrated a keen understanding of our solutions and their ability to help businesses overcome the challenges posed by the ever changing threat landscape, adoption of virtualization and cloud, and growing scale of LTE deployments and mobile penetration. Under his able leadership, our channel will be expertly enabled to hone in on critical national infrastructure related technology projects in the region which will further fuel our aggressive expansion."

Infoblox fulfils its business through a network of partners in the region and is currently looking to develop a set of focused channel partners that will make a larger contribution to its regional revenues. Alexander will focus on enabling these strategic partners within the security, cloud and infrastructure domains. He will also champion the regional launch of the company's award winning Channel IP Program which leverages incentive programs, co-partner end-user events, and vertical focused events to drive partner engagement and opportunities.

Alexander has over 14 years of industry experience having served in channel and sales related roles in the region. Prior to joining Infoblox, he was the Regional Sales Manager at F5 Networks in the Middle East. He has also held various sales roles at Cisco Systems from 2006 to 2012 where he was instrumental in opening up new verticals, recruiting and aligning with key partners and successfully leading some of the largest and most complex projects in the United Arab Emirates. Before this, he was a Partner Manager for the Gulf & Levant region at Hewlett Packard.

Commenting on what partners can expect in the near future, he said, "We are committed to the region and will continue to make significant investment in our partners. They can expect a streamlined and simpler process of doing business with us, clear protection guidelines, and tiered profitability mechanisms. There will be more training and enablement programs that will ensure the development of long term business partners."

"As the threat landscape evolves and DNS attacks become the number one threat vector, Infoblox continues to provide solutions to help enterprises meet these challenges head on and protect them from future threats. As such the opportunities for Infoblox and its partners in the region are immense," concluded Alexander.
