New custom built facilities reflect phenomenal growth in the Middle East and Anixter's strong commitment to the Middle East
Dubai - Anixter Inc., the world's leading distributor of communication products, electrical and electronic wire & cable and a leading distributor of fasteners and other small parts ("C" Class inventory components) to Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), today announced the official opening of its $3 million Middle East Headquarters in Dubai. Inaugurated by Mr. Ibrahim Al Janahi, Senior Vice President, Jafza, the new $3 million custom-built warehouse is located in the recently expanded Jebel Ali Free Zone, and will house the new regional headquarters for the global distributor. Among the many Anixter representatives at the inauguration were Bob Eck, Executive Vice President - Enterprise Cabling & Security Solutions, and Scott Quinton, Senior Vice President Sales- EMEA, who flew in especially for the event.
Mike Smith, VP Sales - Wire & Cable, Anixter FZE, said, "The region has seen phenomenal growth and investment; We are committed to working with our regional partners across the Middle East, supported by an extensive on-hand, local inventory. Anixter also provides local training and technical expertise."
