First Flagship Centre in Levant Region

Beirut – Huawei Consumer Business Group held an opening ceremony for its first customer service center in Beirut.  Located in the busy and vibrant Sin El Fil, Mirna Chalouhi Street, facing Freeway center, the groundbreaking center will provide customer service and technical support for all Huawei consumers. The milestone inauguration was attended by Huawei executives, Huawei partners and members of the press.

Exclusively accommodating Huawei customers, the new interdependent customer service center resumes the brand’s duty to its customers and their needs. It also displays Huawei’s continued commitment to the Lebanese market and the brand’s strategic expansion plans within the market at large. With this inauguration, Huawei would have over 2,300 service centers covering 96 countries including China and Japan and countries in Europe, Asia Pacific, Middle East, Africa and Latin America, with over 650 direct service stores.

“Lebanon is a country that understands the customers’ needs whether in sales or aftersales services, thus we decided to introduce the flagship service center to the Levant Region from Beirut. With the support of our partners we will be able to answer the increasing customer base of Huawei devices in Lebanon.” said Rex Liu, President of the Consumer Business Group Levant Region. ”We are confident that our Service center will set new levels in providing the best brand experience as per Huawei’s global standards in sales and service”.

Customers will be able to use the rest area while an engineer repairs their phones. This area is equipped with a phone charging point, free wi-fi and computers for customers use.

In addition to the excellent technical support, Huawei flagship store offers its customers a full experience – from free consultation on new Huawei products to configuring devices – in addition to accessories and the opportunity to test the latest features in the demo area. This one-stop-shop service center will feature numerous special offers such as Pre-Sales Consulting Services, the Huawei Exclusive Application, Mobile Phone Maintenance Service, Postal Repair Service, Mobile Phone Broken-Screen Service, VIP Member Service, Extended Warranty Services, and Trade Phone Service.

The opening of the Customer Service Center comes on the back of an impressive year for Huawei reporting a breakthrough growth during the first quarter of 2017 in many countries. Its smartphone shipments increased by over 50% year-on-year in 52 countries, 32 of which saw growth of over 100%. In China and Europe, HUAWEI smartphone shipments maintained robust growth of 20% and 15% respectively. Meanwhile, in Southeast Asia and the South Pacific, smartphone shipments increase over 70%. Huawei’s shipped 34.55 million Smartphones, this amount to a year-on-year increase of 21.6%.

During the opening week -from July 6th till 14th, Huawei will offer a gift to the first 60 customers to purchase a Huawei device from the center and a 30% discount on repairs on Huawei devices out of warranty. The center is open for customers from Monday till Friday (9:00AM- 5:30PM) and on Saturday (9:00AM till 1:00PM). Customers can also connect with the Huawei team on the hotline number 1279.
