Dubai, UAE. October 28 2004 - HP Middle East has reported great success in the wake of their recently concluded 'Simply StorageWorks Roadshow' conducted in the Middle East across the UAE, Jordan and Egypt. Speaking about the success of the Roadshow, Hazem Bazan, Director, Solution Partners Organisation - HP Middle East, explained that while the data and information markets continued to grow at unprecedented levels, there is a strong need to identify, understand and cater to various customers needs.
"At HP we believe that the unabated data explosion should be supported by diverse technology choices, and tailor made strategies to protect data and Information. HP's Simply StorageWorks Roadshow is designed to address this important concern, and after successful chapters held elsewhere in the world, we held it recently to cover the important Middle East market, where it has proven to be invaluable partners," he stated
The ME Roadshow, conducted in Dubai, Amman and Cairo, addressed small and medium businesses (SMBs), large enterprises and consolidated storage networks with individual modules on protection, back up and recovery and leveraging assets. In addition to introducing the XpStorage works 12000, HP also presented the latest updates on Ultimate Business Protection, Easy as NAS and My First SAN.
Bazan stated that the storage roadshow was attended by more than 130 partners from both the commercial and enterprise spaces.
