Muscat - Amouage, the leading luxury international fragrance house, celebrated its 25th Anniversary in a glamorous event under the auspices of His Highness Sayyid Tarik bin Shabib Al Said at the Shangri-La Barr Al Jissah Resort & Spa.

Attended by leading members of the community, luxury brand and perfume specialists and the world's premier opinion-making fashion and lifestyle consumer press, the House of Amouage unveiled its new image, bottles and packaging and launched two wonderful commemorative 'Jubilation' fragrances along with a Bath & Body Collection and Home Collection of parfums d'ambience.

Lebanese singing-sensation Nawal Al Zoghbi, British opera star Natasha Marsh and the international aerial duo act of VIVA were some of the main performers of the evening. The event also paid tribute to the renowned Master French perfumer, Guy Robert who created the very first Amouage Gold fragrance.

Befitting of Amouage's historic milestone, Jubilation 25 for women and Jubilation XXV for men, created under the direction of the Amouage Creative Director, Christopher Chong, encapsulate emotions of hope, magic, passion and celebration utilizing the intensity of traditional Omani frankincense, a trademark for which the House is renowned in its goal to preserve the millennia old history of Arabian perfumery.

Inspired by the nocturnal beauty and mystical power of the moon, the aim was to create a timeless classic using only the finest ingredients. Jubilation is the first fragrance to be presented in Amouage's newly designed bottles, livery and packaging. The new bottles have been designed to reflect the heritage of the brand, to form an element of continuity with the previous bottles and to become recognizable the world over as signature pieces of the House of Amouage.

The design of the new men's bottle is still inspired by the khanjar and the cap is reminiscent of ivory, whereas the women's bottle is inspired by classical Arabian architecture and the cap is reminiscent of the beautiful dome of the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque. Both bottles have intricately-designed wave effects in their sides and bases, reflecting the meaning of the Arabic translation of Amouage which can be translated as waves of emotion, in its most literal sense.

"This is a momentous year for the house," said David Crickmore, CEO of Amouage. "Our new identity, new fragrances and new product lines will position us at the forefront of niche, luxury fragrance brands around the world and will launch a planned international expansion. The House of Amouage is a unique brand with a rich and colorful heritage that fires the imagination of all who come into contact with its wonderful products."

Thanking all who have contributed to 25 years of international success,  including the factory and Head Office staff, Crickmore is confident that the new collection will lead Amouage to ever-greater success as it spreads its wings still further internationally, expressing to the world a message inspired by the beauty and culture that encapsulates the true spirit of Oman.

This year, the Bath & Body Collection will be available in Amouage's two most popular and renowned fragrances Gold and Dia.  Over time, other fragrances from the house's collection will be developed into this new range of products.

The Bath & Body Collection comprises a full complement of luxurious products, including perfumed Bath & Shower Gel, Soaps, Body Lotion, Hand Cream and the ultra-luxury Body Cream. The products harmoniously layer the skin with the finest fragrance and nourish the skin with the richest of ingredients.  The range is perfumed with the highest concentration of fragrance possible, which subtly remains throughout the day. Each product is formulated with the finest natural ingredients - including the rare rock rose and frankincense, both indigenous to Oman - by renowned French experts.  Formulated with excellent properties to rejuvenate the natural vitality and radiance of the skin, this collection delivers high performance with exceptional results for all skin types.

In creating the Home Collection, the Amouage perfumers were charged with evoking a reminiscence of the elegance and sophistication of lost empires by developing new and harmonious scents to perfume the home.

Six entirely new fragrances were especially developed for Amouage by the perfumers in Grasse and, as well as luxury room sprays, these scents have been infused into a special wax that melts only at very high temperatures and made into beautiful scented candles in a high quality, elegant glass holder, by one of France's most notable master candle-makers, established since the early 18th Century. Amouage have also created a special edition candle using its existing and best selling Gold fragrance for women. The candle is sold sitting in its own luxury brass holder.
