His Majesty King Mohammed VI has sent a message of compassion to the President of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani, following his infection with the coronavirus.
In this message, His Majesty the King says he learnt with great emotion and deep concern the news of the infection of the Mauritanian president with the coronavirus, praying God to grant him speedy recovery and good health, and to preserve him to continue to lead the brotherly Mauritanian people on the path to achieving their aspirations for further progress and prosperity.
While expressing his feelings of compassion, the Sovereign says he seeks further common action in order to continue strengthening and consolidating the relations of fraternity and fruitful cooperation between the two countries.
