HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and UAE Minister of Finance joined Ministry of Finance (MoF) employees in a celebration of winning awards in three different categories of the third Mohammed bin Rashid Excellence Awards for government performance. The celebrations took place in the Ministry's Headquarters in Dubai in the presence of HE Obaid Humaid Al Tayer, Minister of State for Financial Affairs; HE Younis Haji Al Khouri, Undersecretary of MoF and their excellencies the assistant undersecretaries in addition to heads of departments and sectors.
HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai honoured the winning entities during the awards ceremony, which was held recently at the Emirates Palace hotel in Abu Dhabi. MoF was awarded in the following categories: Distinguished Ministries with Less than 900 Staff, Distinguished Federal Entity in Leadership, Distinguished Joint Government Projects.
During the ceremony, HE Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashad Al Maktoum urged all MoF staff to continue to perform in accordance with the best practices of government financial work, in order to carry out the tasks and responsibilities that are assigned to the Ministry. HE confirmed that this success reflects the employees' dedication and collaboration to achieve a sustainable and competitive environment. HE also highlighted that MoF will continue to provide services while optimally utilizing government resources for the benefit of UAE nationals, and focus on human resources at MoF.
