Doha, 24 October 2012: Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) received the prestigious Oracle excellence Award at the GITEX 2012 Technology Week in Dubai recently.

The Engineered Systems Award was given to HMC's Health Information Systems Department for its phased implementation of the Oracle E-Business Suite in Finance, Supply Chain Management and Human Resources across the Corporation.

Oracle provided HMC with a cutting edge technology to support the software implementation, and the Corporation is the first in the region to implement it. Mr. Ali Al Janahi, Chief of Business Services Group, accepted the award on behalf of HMC.
