Dubai, United Arab Emirates - 26 October 2008 - Habib Bank AG Zurich (HBZ), one of the leading international banks operating in the United Arab Emirates, has announced the launch of its new Electronic Banking Unit (EBU). The EBU is designed to provide a wide range of banking services to the growing number of people living and working in the Dubai Marina area, adjacent communities and valued existing HBZ customers.
The EBU offers automated services 24/7, while dedicated relationship managers will also be available during extended business hours Saturday - Thursday, from 9am-5pm, to assist customers with their diverse banking needs.

At any time, Habib Bank AG Zurich customers will be able to take advantage of a host of services which include being able to withdraw and deposit cash and cheques, make balance enquiries, request mini-statements, pay utility bills, transfer funds, request cheque books and manage GSM service.
Additionally, the EBU offers the following facilities for use by HBZ customers:
- Use of the Customer Lounge/Conference Room- subject to prior booking
- Dedicated Internet Banking Kiosk providing internet banking services, including account statements, requests for HBZ GSM & Secure Key, change of ATM withdrawal limits, utility bill payments & details, view cheque deposits and returns, funds transfers, secure third party transfers, request for third party limit changes, status of remittances, access authenticated SWIFT messages in real-time, indicative exchange rates and online equity trading platform.
The Habib Bank AG Zurich Electronic Banking Unit is located parallel to Sheikh Zayed Road in the Dubai Marina Area.
