UAE-based company extends agreement for 8 more mega-yachts with Royal Falcon Fleet to add to their current series
Dubai, UAE, 23 March 2011 : Based on the existing contract with Royal Falcon Fleet to complete the interiors of the first 2 units of the series of RFF135 Porsche Design Mega-yacht Catamarans, Greenline Yacht Interiors (GLYI) has recently finalized an agreement to complete a further 8 RFF135, which marks only the beginning of a visionary mega-yacht fleet programme.
Greenline Yacht Interiors will be exhibiting alongside Royal Falcon Fleet at the Abu Dhabi Yacht Show, taking place from March 24-26 at Yas Marina, with a model of the RFF135 Porsche Design Catamaran on display.
"We wanted to release this exciting news at the Abu Dhabi Yacht Show as an indication of the buoyancy of the market, in light of new projects that are being pursued in collaboration with local companies. We anticipate a lot of interest at the Abu Dhabi Yacht Show in the spectacular yacht, a model of which will be displayed at our exhibition stand throughout the duration of the show," says Lea Badro, Business Development Director for GLYI.
The first two 41m (135ft) Catamarans, which have been stunningly designed by Porsche Design, are currently under construction in Sweden and in conjunction with Kockums AB at their facilities in Musk?. Both vessels are expected to be delivered during 2012. Following a similar agreement for the additional 8 Mega-Yachts, GLYI will provide the full turn-key interiors for the yacht including owner's, VIP and guests areas as well as service and crew areas.
Greenline Yacht Interiors:
Over the last decade, UAE-based Greenline Yacht Interiors has grown to be recognized as the ultimate performer in the delivery of customized yacht interior projects that meet and exceed the expectations of the high net worth individuals and shipyards who commission them. Through consistent high-quality work, Greenline Yacht Interiors has established itself as one of the most sought after interior outfitting companies within the super yacht industry.
Greenline Yacht Interiors, established by Chairman and CEO Samir Badro, has been involved in projects associated with famed designers of yacht interiors such as Philippe Starck, Terence Disdale, Francois Zuretti and Donald Starkey. This recognition, due to their first-class operations and high quality craftsmanship, has given Greenline Yacht Interiors the opportunity to add to their portfolio several monumental projects making them the leader in niche and exclusive category of vessels over 100m. The most recently delivered is M.Y. Eclipse the world's largest privately owned yacht at 163 metres.
Greenline Yacht Interior's ability to deliver world class work has much to do with the fact that they recently built the world's largest yacht interiors factory at their headquarters in Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai - UAE. Launched in 2008, the factory spans over 280,000 square feet, houses a 163m one-to-one production mock up hall supported by a large in-house workforce of over 600 craftsmen and artisans. This sanctions their ability to handle a large volume of interiors, offering clients and shipyards alike a single point of contact.
"Greenline's latest technology complements the high quality craftsmanship that transforms our customer's vision into reality" commented Samir Badro, CEO, Greenline Yachts Interiors. "We are honoured to continuously have the opportunity to work with the best designers and shipyards that cater for high net worth individuals which help us retain our place among global leaders in the yacht outfitting business".
