Golden Oasis to support Home Show 2011
MUSCAT, Oman, 4 December, 2011 - Golden Oasis Group of companies comprising Golden Oasis Business & Development LLC, Vision for Design & Decoration LLC, Golden Woodwork LLC and Glass Art Design are actively supporting the forthcoming Home Show 2011 - the only trade exhibition in Oman catering to the special needs of home builders and owners. Golden Oasis, which is a Gold sponsor of the event, through its subsidiary companies, will showcase machine dispensed decorative wood and glass art work at the Home Show, which will be held between December 13 and 15 at the Oman International Exhibition Centre.
Global Woodwork LLC, the biggest manufacturing wheel in Golden Oasis Corporation, has 15,000 sq feet factory in Sohar. The factory, which has a top of the range machinery and modern technology, is ready to offer all types of finishing and decoration products and services for residential and commercial projects. The factory is manufacturing an extensive range of products such as wooden doors, windows, kitchens and furniture for both home and office.
Melamine Medium Density Fiber (MDF) Boards and Melamine Particle Boards lamination, which is a part of the manufacturing process in Global Woodwork Factory, produces paper lamination on MDF and can provide with thousand of different colours and patterns on MDF sheets with a production capacity of 15000 sheets per month.
Glass Art Design, another subsidiary, will commence its full-fledged operation next month by offering a range of latest decoration solutions, including fusing technology, glass print, glass lamination, glass painting, glass carving and sand blasting. The company will have its glass factory and workshop at Al Khuwair in Muscat. "Our stand at the exhibition will offer a unique opportunity to promote the company among potential customers," said Sheikh Khalid al Kalbani, Chairman of Golden Oasis.
Vision for Design & Decoration will use the exhibition venue to display its turnkey solutions for interior design, which include conceptualisation, planning, design and complete execution for residential and commercial premises such as homes, offices, restaurants, etc. "With the confidence coming back to the real estate market, the demand for both residential units and office spaces from genuine users has been growing, although speculators are still waiting on the sidelines. Therefore, we have plenty of works to do," says Linda Ekman, Marketing Manager of the Golden Oasis Corporation.
Organised by Global Exhibitions and Conferences LLC, under the patronage of the Ministry of Housing, the Home Show 2011 is officially supported by the Muscat Electricity Distribution Company, Association of Professional Interior Designers, Supreme Committee for Town Planning, Oman Housing Bank and the Oman Society of Contractors.
The Home Show 2011 offers leading local companies, including real estate developers, contractors, architects, interior designers and mortgage finance institutions, an opportunity to further strengthen their position in the market, while international firms can take full advantage of the growing opportunities in Oman's housing sector. With the government's commitment to create employment opportunities for youths, the demand for houses is expected to grow in the coming years.
