DICOM FZE, the global leader in the Information Capture market, recently conducted the Fujistu Scanner Sales Seminar inviting their Channel partners in the document management industry.

The half day events held on July 31st at the Le Meridien Airport Hotel, Dubai, UAE and on August 3rd at West Tower, Johannesburg, South Africa covered presentations on latest portfolio of Fujistu scanners and their integration with Kofax VRS software - a leading image enhancement software from Kofax.

Reinhold Hirschauer, Sales Manager - Scanners Fujitsu Deutschland GmbH, who conducted the presentations commented - 'Fujitsu have the largest market share in the Middle East market for document scanners and have many successful installations in Govt offices, healthcare, aviation, banks and private organisations in this region'

'The Fujitsu scanner portfolio has every model to cater from personal low-volume scanners scanning 500 documents a day to production scanners scanning 100,000 a day' adds Hirschauer.

The VRS integration with Fujitsu was conducted by Faisal Khateeb, Business Development Manager, DICOM FZE on the VRS and Capio products from Kofax. VRS (VirtualReScan) is an electronic check-point for scanned images. As quickly as images pass through the scanner, VRS performs a multi-point inspection of each document. VRS instantly checks and adjusts for alignment (skew), brightness, contrast, and image clarity. Any inconsistencies are immediately corrected by VRS so that only the straightest, most readable images are moved into your application. Capio is also fast-moving dynamic low-cost desktop information management software for small business.

'Our partners found the event very useful especially because they could meet with Fujitsu directly and discuss their concerns and suggestions present in the market' says Blessy Varghese, Sales Manager, DICOM FZE.

'DICOM Group is one of the largest distributors of Fujitsu scanners in Europe. With Dicom's expertise in the document capture industry and Fujitsu's comprehensive range of reliable document scanners, we are confident that we can offer the optimum solutions for end-users through our Channel partners 'concludes Lars Bogvad Jeppesen, Managing Director, DICOM FZE.
