As part of the National Day of Georgia at Expo 2020 “Dance with Georgia” Gala Dinner featuring a spectacular performance of the world-famous Georgian National Ballet Sukhishvili will take place at Sofitel Downtown on the 28th of December.
After a triumphal performance at Dubai Opera back in November 2021, Sukhishvili will bring all the richness and traditions of Georgian culture back to Dubai. Guests will get to experience a unique atmosphere of the festive season combined with the spirit of Georgia, dynamic traditional dances and an incredible entertainment programme.
The legendary company was founded by Iliko Sukhishvili and Nino Ramishvili in 1945. More than 90 million people from all over the world have seen the performance of Sukhishvili ballet.
A unique dancing style, a combination of classical, modern, and folk elements fascinates people. ”The Eighth Wonder of the World - this is how the international media named the Sukhishvili group.
Nino Ramishvili, the co-founder of Sukhishvili Georgian National Ballet once stated: “Dance is a language and Georgian dance is a tale about my country. When you watch Georgian dance you can feel the spirit of Georgia, its history, customs, traditions, it’s very positive. It is a visiting card for my country.”
One of the highlights of the Gala Dinner will be a fashion show where guests will get a chance to see exquisite looks from iconic Georgian Fashion Designers.
