Dubai, UAE - Fritz Hansen - the Scandinavian furniture design company famous for Arne Jacobsen designed icons the 'Egg' and the 'Swan' chairs - has partnered with Gemaco Interiors, the local leader in office furniture.
To inaugurate the new partnership, the launch of a Scandinavian living room concept will be exhibited in Gemaco's Dubai showroom during The Hotel Show - the region's premier hospitality event - which runs June 8-10 at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre.
The Fritz Hansen Lounge - a luxury hotel room concept - will include a selection of the company's exclusive furniture designs, such as Jehs & Laub's 'Space chair,' Kasper Salto's 'Little Friend' table and a 'PK80' daybed, designed by Poul Kjærholm in 1957.
In a holistic showcase of market-leading hotel products, the Fritz Hansen Lounge will also sample flagship Scandinavian design companies, including ege carpets, Bang & Oulfsen, Kvadrat and Louis Poulsen.
