The event is organized to cater to the healthcare needs of the underprivileged

Aster, a division of the DM Healthcare, one of the leading healthcare providers in the region, in association with the Indian Ladies Association, Dubai (ILA) and Malabar Gold and Diamonds will host a free health camp for the underprivileged Indian workers in the UAE. The health camp will be held on September 14, 2012 from 8.30 a.m. to 12.00p.m. at the Consulate General of India premises in Dubai.

Commenting on the health camp, Dr. Azad Moopen, Chairman of DM Healthcare, said, "We are proud to be associated with this initiative and extend our expertise and services towards supporting the people in need. ASTER's Community Good Health Programme is committed to ensuring every individual in the UAE can avail the best healthcare services."

The medical camp is being organized as part of the ASTER Community Good Health Programme (CGHP), under DM Healthcare. Free checkups, health advisories and medicines will be provided for the workers attending the camp.

ASTER will line up a complete panel of health experts at the health camp. The panel will include three General Practitioners, an ENT specialist, Dermatologist, Optometrist, Orthopedics and Dental.

Those who are diabetic and above the age of 40 would be required to come in fasting and bring along their previous medical reports if any.

The Indian Ladies Association, Dubai has been organizing health camps for many years to serve the Indian community and is a continuous initiative conducted every quarter of the year.
