Additional aircraft, served by German medical team, to be permanently available at Al Bateen

Al Bateen Executive Airport, operated by Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC) as the only dedicated business airport in the Middle East North Africa region, announced today that is has been named the preferred hub in the Middle East for German Air Ambulance Specialist and VVIP-Jet-Operator FAI rent-a-jet AG (dba Flight-Ambulance-Intl). As part of the arrangement, two fully dedicated air ambulance jets (Challenger 604 + Learjet 60) will be permanently available at Al Bateen Executive Airport, and served by German medical teams.
A fully-equipped air ambulance Learjet 60 can accommodate a medical team, one patient and two patient escorts, while the Challenger 604 carries two intensive care patients plus a medical team and up to eight accompanying passengers. Both aircraft have the capability of carrying critically ill patients between Abu Dhabi and anywhere in the world.
FAI selected Al Bateen Executive Airport as its Middle Eastern hub due to its ability to best serve increasing client demand from the region, the Far East and Asia.
