Dubai, United Arab Emirates, December 13, 2011 - Etisalat Facilities Management, one of the business units of Etisalat Services Holding that provides high quality Facilities Management Services to Etisalat as well as the Real Estate market within UAE and the Gulf, has recently signed a joint venture agreement with Emirates Transport (ET), a government entity that provides the UAE community with mass transportation solutions.
The scope of the strategic partnership is to create a new standalone Facilities Management company that will utilise Emirates Transport's industry network and knowledge of the market, culture and business practices, along withEtisalat Facilities Management's proven record of success in serving customers and its status as the first choice for FM services in the telecommunications Sector.
The new partnership will provide specialized and tailored FM services in the sectors where ET is present: Education, Healthcare, Federal Government Ministries, Local Government Authorities, Police Department, and Oil & Gas Companies.
Commenting on the association with Emirates Transport, Mr Ali Al Sharid, CEO of Etisalat Services Hoilding said, "This partnership is a strategic step for Etisalat Facilities Management towards widening their customer base, and becoming the Model FM service provider of choice in the Government Sector."

About Emirates Transport
Emirates Transport (ET) is the abbreviated, commercial name of the Emirates General Corporation for Transportation and Services. It is a federally owned corporation with financial and administrative independence.
