Dubai 28 November 2004- The Certified Internet Security Specialist Professional (CISSP) exams were held last week at the Etisalat Academy in Dubai .
Around 65 nominee specialized in Internet Security working in different governmental bodies and companies in KSA, Oman , Kuwait and other Arab countries submitted the exams at the academy premises which is considered the regional representative of the International Information Technology Security Consortium (ISC)2.
He added that the CISSP certificate is considered an important certificate for those willing towards developing and improving their profession and career in Information Technology.
Dr. Doaa Fares, General Manager , Etisalat Academy , said "Applicants are required to achieve a minimum of 700 points to pass their tests to get their international certificate in Information Technology security. Applicants are also required to provide all the required documents to the concerned division in the academy for registration to receive their approvals for the exam's applications, after submitting the degree signed by one of the internationally registered members in coordination with the academy to prove the practical practice and the working experience of the candidate."
In addition to a detailed statement about the professional skills and the IT review along with signing the regulations and procedures of this domain's ethics provided that this takes place before the examination with a sufficient period of time to conclude the registration and receiving the approval from the United States Authority office" .
The international authority for IT security specifies the knowledge domains that are considered as international standard specialised for IT security experts. This includes web security, IT security administration, system development, and operation security.
It is worth mentioning that the academy will be hosting the Middle East Information Technology Security Conference (MEITSEC 2004) from December 12-14.
