Dubai, UAE - ESET®, the global pioneer of proactive endpoint security software, has launched multiple solutions for IT security, in particular showcasing the latest innovation in threat response and prediction, during its participation in GITEX Technology Week 2017.

The new offerings, on displayed at the region’s largest IT exhibition at Dubai World Trade Centre, from October 8-12, include the ESET Threat Intelligence service for enterprise customers, which closes the gap between the IT security information that security engineers get from their own networks and the cyberspace intelligence that ESET collects worldwide.

GITEX Technology Week represents an ideal platform for industry leaders such as ESET to highlight security concerns following the latest global ransomware attacks earlier this year, which created extensive problems for certain organisations, said Dimitris Raekos, general manager, ESET Middle East.

"We have communicated the benefits of our layered approach on security and how our new solutions will predict, detect, prevent and respond via continuous monitoring and analysis,” said Raekos. “Visitors to our stand at GITEX will get access to educational presentations on security threats and data protection as regulatory compliance since it is becoming an important issue for the vast majority of industries”.

During the exhibition, ESET has also highlighted its encryption solutions offering for both Home and Business users. Home users can create an encrypted virtual drive, or encrypted Removable Media (USB).  Business customers can benefit from the company’s hybrid-cloud ESET Endpoint Encryption: a fully-fledged encryption platform with the options of pre-boot full disk encryption, removable media encryption, file & folder encryption, email encryption and text inside documents encryption.
