Emirates International Maritime Academy (EIMA) has announced that it has recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Lloyds Register to collaborate on offering maritime programs in addition to organising maritime seminars and workshops in the UAE. The partnership has been part of EIMA's strategy to enhance collaboration with maritime companies and leading academic institutions in the region to exchange knowledge and expertise.

The MoU calls on EIMA and Lloyds Register to jointly offer and develop maritime courses in the fields of security, safety and ship classifications in addition to organising maritime seminars and workshops.
