Overhauls existing packages to allow up to five times more storage and traffic
eCompany, Etisalat's one-stop e-powerhouse that offers Internet services and total e-solutions, today announced the launch of two new web-hosting packages - 'MyWeb' and 'MySite' - aimed at increasing website ownership by small businesses and individuals. It also announced significant upgrades and new features for its existing packages to provide additional value for current subscribers.
Announcing the two new web-hosting packages and the overhaul of the existing ones, Mr. Ahmad Abdulkarim Julfar, GM, eCompany, said: "We have announced new packages and upgrades to help small businesses and individuals adopt the Internet as a tool for reaching their objectives. Simple personal sites to more sophisticated, business driven websites incorporating complex technologies, databases and online payment gateways can be hosted through the range of eCompany web-hosting packages. The new MyWeb and MySite packages, starting at just Dhs. 25 a month, make it easier and cheaper to own a website and are in line with eCompany's commitment to provide customers with a range of options to enhance their Internet presence. The MyWeb package includes storage allowance of 10MB, which can give the owner 300 web pages, and data transfer (traffic) of 1,000MB at a very affordable Dhs. 25 per month. The MySite package offers storage capacity of 50MB and traffic allowance of 1,200MB at Dhs. 50 per month.
Enhancements to the existing Starter, Economy, Advanced and Ultra packages are significant, with storage allowance for the Starter Package being increased fivefold, from 20MB to 100MB and traffic allowance escalating from 600MB to 1,500MB. For the Economy Package, storage has been increased from 150MB to 500MB and traffic allowance from 800MB to 2,000MB.
Storage allowance for the Advanced Package has been increased from 300MB to 1,500MB and traffic from 1,000MB to 2,500MB. For the ultimate Ultra Package, storage allowance has been quadrupled to 2,000MB while traffic allowance has been doubled to 3,000MB. Subscribers to any of these packages can further increase their storage and traffic allowances at very affordable prices.
Every website customer receives a virtual e-mail address, further ensuring that the service is precisely tailored to personal or business needs. Additional addresses can be added on at a nominal rate. eCompany's unique 'Control Panel' is included with every web-hosting package, in line with eCompany's determination to make it easier for the customer to manage their site. This powerful and easy-to-use tool allows customers to manage their website from anywhere in the world and update and develop it as required.
