Dubai, 18 July; Club Car in the Middle East has just signed a new deal with Dubai Golf to supply over 100 Club Car's including 86 'Precedent' golf carts for use on Dubai Creek's newly redesigned golf complex. 

Rod Bogg, Managing Director of Dubai Golf and Chris May, General Manager for Dubai Creek, enthusiastically announced this deal stating, "we're very excited about purchasing the new Club Car 'Precedent' for Dubai Creek.  This will be a totally new fleet for the club when it reopens later this year, after extensive refurbishment to the clubhouse and a complete redesign of the golf course.  We have had a long and excellent relationship with Club Car since 1987 and the loyalty goes both ways."

Kevin Hart, Business Development Manager of Club Car, added "We are delighted with the relationship with Dubai Golf  - they are our biggest single customer in the Middle East - and we are proud that this prestigious club is the first in Dubai to order the Club Car Precedent.  Hydroturf International, our Middle East representatives will be supporting the new fleet.''

The Club Car Precedent is the first totally redesigned Club Car in 20 years, it is considered the 'best of breed' - stronger, more intelligent, more agile, most definitely a more all round comfortable car.   Features, all of which are considered critical in meeting a golfer's requirement for a pleasurable experience on the course.  Additional features include fewer parts and therefore less maintenance, and it is the first golf cart to have a 4- battery, 48- volt power plant, which makes it more efficient to run.

No doubt, this new versatile vehicle will enhance the popularity of golf in the region and will be an attraction for golfers to this brand new course designed by European Golf Design and Thomas Bjorn.  Included in the redevelopment are 92 exclusive four- bedroom villas overlooking the golf course and a 238-bedroom luxury Park Hyatt Hotel.
