A delegation from the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) in Dubai has paid a visit to the JW Marriott Marquis hotel, the tallest in the world, to check its units and facilities for classification grounds.
The hotel general manager gave a detailed presentation to the licensing and classification team on the services and entertainment techniques adopted at the hotel which is slated to open next November.
Majid Al Marri, Director of Hotel Classification Department, said the hotel is distinguished with a variety of facilities and restaurants, let alone spacious areas toning with the needs of all guests.
"The fabulous designs of the hotel, a new addition to hotel facilities in Dubai, will be up to guests' expectations, tastes and needs," he said, noting that the hotel will be added to Dubai world records," he said, adding that "Dubai shall always be in the lead; a premier hub for tourism, business and finance across the region.
Hailing DTCM for its tireless effort in boosting tourism in the emirate, the hotel general manager said: "The licensing and classification spares no effort to develop and boost up all hotel services in Dubai."
The DTCM team consists of Majid Al Marri, Director of Hotel Classification Department, Badr Abdullah, Deputy Director, Marwan Al Abdullah, Head, Classification and Follow-up Section, Khalid Al Marri, Head, Licensing and Follow-up Section, and Ahmed Tarish, Senior Inspector, Hotel Classification.
The JW Marriott Marquis Dubai hotel is to open door late this year in two phases; the first comprises 804 rooms, as well as an array of restaurants and lobbies. The brand "Marquis" is only limited to exceptional hotels of Marriott International Hotels Group in terms of size and location.
This hotel will be the first of Marquis Category outside North America (after the JW Marriott Marquis Miami), and that reflects the Marriott International Inc.'s growing interest in Dubai and its global tourist position.
The JW Marriott Hotel Dubai, located at Abu Baker Al Siddiq Street in Dubai, is a well maintained hotel offering excellent accommodations as well as a convenient location. It is found about ten minutes away from the Dubai International Airports. It is nearby many of the most popular golf courses and shopping centers in the city.
