For the first time, the list this year is entirely dedicated to hotel operators

Dubai, UAE (October 31, 2012) - Bin Majid Hotels, UAE's leading hotel operator, is pleased to announce that Dr Ali Kasapbashi, Group General Manager of Bin Majid Group, has been selected to join the list of 2012 Hotelier Middle East Power 50, the only list that recognizes and celebrates the top 50 hotel professionals working in the Middle East hospitality industry.

Now on its fourth edition, the list this year is entirely dedicated to hotel operators for the first time. Dr Kasapbashi, a new entrant, shared the limelight with some of the well-known figure in the industry.

He said: "It is indeed an honour to be selected as one of Hotelier Middle East Power 50 for 2012. I am pleased that my contribution to the industry was recognized and to be sharing the honours with my friends and colleagues is already a big achievement."

The group general manager of Bin Majid Group has been in the hotel industry for 27 years and his goal is to have a hotel in each of the UAE's seven emirates by 2014. Currently, Bin Majid Hotels, part of the Bin Majid Group has four properties in Ras Al Khaimah namely Bin Majid Beach Hotel, Bin Majid Beach Resort, Acacia Hotel and Mangrove Hotel.

Bin Majid Beach Hotel recently opened its spa while new chalets and cabanas were added at Bin Majid Resort to cater to the increasing demand of visitors to the emirates. The presidential suites at Mangrove Hotel are now available providing VIPs the opportunity to enjoy their stay.

The group is opening a new property, the Bin Majid Beach Hotel Apartment in Abu Dhabi by end of 2012. The a 4-star hotel features 230 rooms and suites, including a Gym, swimming pool, a business center and meeting rooms. The hotel will have an all-day dining restaurant where guests can select from a wide variety of gastronomic choices and a coffee shop offering them a relaxing aromatic Shisha experience.

Another property is the Bin Majid Hotel, also in Abu Dhabi, offering 133 rooms and suites. The property is centrally located in the capital and will offer dining outlets plus coffee shop, business center and meeting rooms.
