Out of its policy aiming at rendering remarkable services to customers and providing them with all means of convenience inside and outside Qatar, Doha Bank announced yesterday the launch of HewaltyCard Program, in cooperation with Misr International Bank. The program is the first in its kind in the State of Qatar and serves the Egyptian Expatriates in Qatar.
"After launching the direct e-remittance to Egypt and scoring big success thereof, we are eager to sustain cooperation between Misr International Bank and Doha Bank, so that we can offer distinguished services and meet all the needs of Egyptian Expatriates in Qatar", said Seetharaman, Doha Bank Acting General Manager.
"Today, we offer the best and fastest means for customers to receive remittances without going to the bank or abiding by working hours", said Amr Atalla, Senior General Manager & Head of Retail Banking Group at Misr International Bank.
"HewaltyCard is considered the first card in its kind in Egypt and the Middle East. It is an easy, safe and fast means to receive funds. In addition, HewaltyCard holders can purchase from all commercial stores accepting visa cards all over Egypt, and withdraw cash from ATM machines. All these privileges increased the demand for HewaltyCards, as the bank has sold more than 11,000 cards since their launch at Egyptian Market in February 2005. Mr. Ehab Al Marsafi, Business Development Officer (Tel: 5874808), is the representative of Misr International Bank in Qatar to facilitate offering different banking services for Egyptian Expatriates there", added Mr. Amr Atalla.
"It is well-known that Doha Bank is one of the most important private banks in the State of Qatar, as it offers all banking services to different sects of customers in society, and uses all available means and developed electronic channels. Doha Bank is the pioneer in the field of retail services, with regard to distinguished and numerous services as well as some special services exclusively rendered by the bank. Doha Bank has 20 branches and 3 e-branches as well as the biggest ATM network in Qatar with more than 80 ATM machines", said Abdul Rahman Al Meer, Executive Manager, Retail Banking, Doha Bank.
The two parties declared that they would complete these steps through developing mutual retail services that would be announced gradually.
