Abu Dhabi : The moment that every socialite in the UAE capital has been waiting for is finally here: Ritual is back at COYA Abu Dhabi. The popular, vibrant party has been put on hold since the COVID-19 pandemic began, but now it is bursting back into action in spectacular fashion. Presenting the most hedonistic and upbeat event in the city’s nightlife scene, guests are invited to dance all night to live music and admire the breathtaking views over Al Maryah Island on Wednesday, December 8.

A colourful and tantalising gathering for party people and music lovers, Ritual is inspired by the rich and fascinating culture of the Aztecs and Incas. Fusing the energies of the past and the present together in the stunning Pisco Bar, the upcoming Ritual party will feature beats from some of COYA’s most much-loved resident DJs, plus expertly crafted Peruvian bites and refreshing signature beverages, including the brand’s famous Pisco Sour cocktails.

Packed with theatrics, excitement and unforgettable moments, the Aztec-inspired Ritual night will transport guests away from Abu Dhabi and into a magical alternative world. Presenting an uplifting night filled with Latin American hotspot endless tribal beats, COYA resident DJ Eva Voytko will get the whole place moving with her uplifting mixes of South American tracks and melodic techno.

COYA’s featured Ritual DJs are all part of COYA Music, the brand’s independent record label. COYA Music works with some of the world’s biggest music producers, including DJ Megablast, and it has so far produced eight distinct EPs under the direction of COYA’s Global Music Director, Stephane Petit.

Speaking about the upcoming Ritual party on December 8, Stephane said: “We relaunched Ritual at COYA Dubai earlier this season and I’m delighted to say that it was a tremendous success. Now, we’re thrilled to bring it back to Abu Dhabi, and our launch event is going to be absolutely incredible. Anyone who has missed dancing and live music can’t afford to skip it. DJ Eva Voytko joined COYA Music back in the summer and she has already gathered a legion of fans across the region. With experience playing across the world in dynamic cities such as New Delhi, Paris, Prague, Shanghai and Dubai, she’s the perfect opening act for our reimagined Abu Dhabi Ritual night.”

Ritual will return to COYA Abu Dhabi on Wednesday, December 8, from 10pm until late. Minimum spends are AED 1,000 for two hours on the high tables, AED 3,500 from 9.30pm onwards on the sofas, AED 1,000 for tables of two on the terrace and AED 2,000 for tables of three on the terrace.

Dates for the New Year will also be announced very soon. For reservations, call +971 02 306 7000. Given the easing of restrictions the Ritual night is now able to operate at 100% capacity. All guests must present an Al Hosn green pass.
