Dubai: The 165-room Courtyard by Marriott Hotel - Dubai, Green Community, Dubai Investment Park was formally inaugurated today in the presence of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al-Maktoum, Chairman of Emirates Group. The inaugural ceremony was held in the presence of prominent dignitaries and other distinguished guests from the business community.
The hosts for the event were Mr. Henry Davies, senior vice president, UKIMEA and Mr. Anton Najjar, area vice president, Middle East and Africa from Marriott International and Mr. Anis Al Jallaf, chairman of Union Properties and Dubai Investments.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Davies, said: "This is a huge stride for Marriott International within the region and we are very excited about the opening of the first Courtyard by Marriott in the UAE and second in the Middle East. After the Courtyard hotel in Kuwait, this wonderful property will surely add to the success of all the other Marriott hotels in the region."
