Leading corporate communications specialist, Trident Communications Dubai, has won the contract to produce the official daily newspaper for Arabian Travel Market 2007 - the Middle East's premier travel and tourism exhibition.

Trident, which has developed a specialist capability to produce daily newspapers to any size and specification at events worldwide, won the contract in the face of fierce competition from five other publishers.

"We put out a request for proposals and chose Trident based on its intent to develop the ATM show daily editorial in keeping with the growth, depth and international footprint of the event," said Lucie Dawkins, Marketing Manager, Arabian Travel Market.

"Trident's proposal more than met all our specifications and the company is backed by a formidable global reputation for producing some of the best event dailies."

The Arabian Travel Market show daily will be published on the first three days of the event, to be held at the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre from May 1 - 4, 2007.

"Arabian Travel Market is one of the world's leading travel and tourism exhibitions and we look forward to partnering the show organisers Reed Travel Exhibitions for this event," said Mike Martin, Regional Manager, Trident Communications.

"Arabian Travel Market reflects the inbound and outbound tourism trends impacting the region and we intend through probing, independent editorial to bring another dimension to the think-tank equation which is driving the tourism proposition forward."

He added: "Our capability in consistently producing award-winning daily news publications at the world's biggest conferences and exhibitions will complement Arabian Travel Market and our aim is to help take the organisers' communication strategy to a new level."

Reed Travel Exhibitions is modifying the logistics of Arabian Travel Market 2007 to reflect the ongoing development of the show. Next year the show site will include three press conference rooms for exhibitors wanting to make important announcements to the large numbers of global media community covering the event.

Arabian Travel Market 2007 will also feature an expanded seminar programme following this year's highly successful series.

Arabian Travel Market is held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and under the auspices of the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing, Government of Dubai.
