Doha-Qatar: To celebrate the opening of its new campus, Compass International School Doha hosted an information and recruitment booth at the Mall of Qatar (MOQ). The interactive booth welcomed over 50 families who had the opportunity to ask questions about the school’s facilities and academic programme, while children enjoyed a specially designed creativity area.

As one of Qatar’s leading international schools, Compass International School Doha is gearing up to welcome students for the next academic year, with a significant number of students applying to attend the brand-new Themaid Campus near Education City.

The Schools new Executive Principal Mr. Paul Holyome welcomed families who stopped by the booth and was on hand to answer questions about the admissions process and the school’s highly competitive academic curriculum.

Commenting on the event, he said; “I was thrilled to see so many families interested in our new state-of-the-art Themaid Campus, which will open this August. At Compass International School Doha, we strive for excellence by offering high-quality education for students aged 3-19 years old in enhanced learning and nurturing environments to better prepare them for the future.  On behalf of our team, I would like to thank all the parents who took the time to visit our booth and learn more about our curriculum. We look forward to officially welcoming the incoming students on Sunday, 25 August.”

Themaid Campus is Compass International School Doha’s fourth campus in Qatar, with the other three campuses located in Madinat Khalifa, Gharaffa and Rayyan. Themaid Campus, near to Education City and Mall of Qatar, is the school’s largest campus. The new state-of-the-art campus will offer students an exceptional learning environment from its well-equipped science laboratories and theatre to a 25-metre swimming pool and specialist areas for design, technology and music.

Families who visited the booth were also interested in learning more about the multitude of offerings across the four campuses, including Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum, the Dutch Culture and Language programme, the French bilingual programme, the International Primary Curriculum, IGCSEs, and the IB Diploma Programme. A-Levels and BTEC vocational training will be added to the curriculum of the new Themaid Campus in the coming years.

Parents also discovered Compass International School Doha’s unique collaborations with world-renowned institutions such as The Juilliard School, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and UNICEF, which enables students to have a wealth of innovative curricular experiences. The school offers challenges, collaborations and worldwide experiences which stimulates students’ natural curiosity to learn and provide a host of developmental benefits.

Compass International School Doha is more than a school.  It is a thriving community where children are nurtured to become the best versions of themselves. Every child is encouraged to be ambitious in their learning and to exceed expectations. Each child is supported through personalised learning to build self-confidence and develop into ambitious learners and strong performers. Compass International School Doha is built on the understanding that it is important to develop social skills as well as academic success and seeks to inspire students to think independently and critically, to evaluate and make judgments themselves and with their peers.
