Beirut - Clemenceau Medical Center (CMC), affiliated with Johns Hopkins International, heldits first Spine Summit at its premiseson May 22nd and May 23rd 2015. The event, also held in collaboration with the Lebanese American University (LAU), was attended by many guests and attracted renowned local and international specialists who provided the latest updates on spinal surgery and complications, including degenerative cervical spine, degenerative lumber spine, spinal Infections, spinal deformity, spinal trauma, and spinal oncology.

Among them were Dr. Youssef Comair, Dr. Mohammad Badra,Dr. Nizar Natout, Dr. Khalil Kharrat, Dr. ChahineAssi, Dr. Ibrahim Saikali; and from Johns Hopkins, Dr. Ali Bydon, Dr. Timothy F. Witham, Dr. Khaled M. Kebaish, and Dr. George I. Jallo. The eventwas also attended by key opinion leaders and members of the press.
Activity Director and Orthopedic Surgeon, Dr. Mohammad Badra, affirmed: "This summit offers attendees two days of focused discussion and opportunities to advance spinal cord medicine and health care from top experts and specialists.
