Canon Middle East, world leader in digital imaging technology, and local distributor GIBCA, will make its 3rd appearance at the Sign & Graphics Imaging Exhibition held at Dubai World Trade Centre from the 27th February to 1st March 2007. To mark its presence at the region's international signage, graphic imaging and screen printing show, Canon is launching a total of 6 new products launched across the field of Canon Business Solutions.

Launching at Sign & Graphics Imaging Exhibition are three new additions to its large format printer (LFP) range. The imagePROGRAF iPF700, imagePROGRAF iPF600 and imagePROGRAF iPF500 have been specifically designed for the CAD and general use markets. Using a range of industry-leading technologies, including a revolutionary five-colour reactive ink system, the new printers are further testament to Canon's drive to become a major force in this sector.
Also launching at the event is the imagePROGRAF iPF8000 that boasts industry-leading technologies and has been designed to deliver high quality output at speed. Aimed predominantly at the print-for-pay sector, including photo labs and copy shops, the imagePROGRAF iPF8000 looks to bolster the Canon large format line-up.
The Canon imagePROGRAF iPF5000, aimed at the Graphic Arts market, will also be showcased at the exhibition. In order to achieve its goal of becoming a dominant force within the large format arena, the launch of the imagePROGRAF iPF5000 is the first of a raft of newly developed products designed to deliver the market requirement of colour accuracy and consistency at speed, whilst remaining reliable and user-friendly.
In addition, Canon will be showcasing its first 60" large format printer, the imagePROGRAF iPF9000. Aimed primarily at the print-for-pay sector, including copy shops and professional print businesses, this new flagship device delivers best-in-class image quality at high speed, and incorporates a range of industry-leading technologies, including Canon's new 12-colour pigment ink system.
Inspired by Japanese design, the Canon stand is located at Hall 3, stand J-1 and will feature a photo studio with models taking part in a live fashion shoot. In addition Canon will have a dedicated area showcasing LPF and wide scanner products which allow visitors to inquire and test the latest state of the art technologies.
As direct sales operator in the UAE, GIBCA will work with small and medium enterprises as well as major and government accounts to increase their efficiency through Canon technology. This is evident by their recent collaboration with Graphic International LLC, which is the authorized reseller for the entire range of canon LFP products for the UAE market.
