Cadillac CTS-V the highlight of the Liberty Abu Dhabi Automobiles Co. stand

Cadillac Provoq concept car to make Middle East debut

Regional Show premieres for the HUMMER H3T and Cadillac Escalade Platinum

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates - Cadillac's most powerful vehicle ever, the all-new CTS-V, will be the star of the Liberty Abu Dhabi Automobiles Co. stand at the 2008 Abu Dhabi International Motor Show.  Making its Middle East premiere in the city, the CTS-V will be appearing alongside regional show premieres for the Cadillac Escalade Platinum and HUMMER H3T in addition to a special appearance by the innovative Cadillac Provoq fuel cell concept car.

The presence of Liberty Abu Dhabi Automobiles Co. at  the 2008 Abu Dhabi International Motor Show (Stand 11D, Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, 17-21, December) will give visitors the chance to see some of the best cars in the markets.

The all-new 2009 Cadillac CTS-V has the power to accelerate from 0-100 kph in less than four seconds, making it the world's fastest V8 production sedan. Combining the performance of a sports car with the poise of a luxury sedan, the CTS-V also features some elegant and purposeful accents, both inside and out, and is set to make a big splash in the region when it goes on sale this December.

HUMMER is bringing its unmistakable style and unmatched capability to the Middle East pick-up market with the 2009 H3T, which is making its regional show debut in Abu Dhabi.  Bigger than a midsize pick-up and smaller than a full-size pick-up, the H3T has created its own niche in the market, providing exceptional off-road capability and a premium interior that is as functional as it is comfortable.

Also making its Middle East show debut alongside the H3T, the Cadillac Escalade Platinum is the luxury brand's new flagship.  Representing the fullest expression of the brand's dramatic design, luxury and technology, the Escalade Platinum is one of the most technically advanced SUVs on the market.  Sporting a sleek, clean and athletic design on the outside, the Escalade Platinum offers the highest standards of handcrafted luxury detail on the inside.

Additionally, visitors to the stand will be able to view one of the Show's very special guests, on display in the Middle East for the very first time, the Cadillac Provoq fuel cell concept car.  This luxury concept is an innovative hydrogen fuel cell crossover vehicle that continues GM's commitment to lead the industry with alternative-fuel technology.  Representing a vision for the future of luxury transportation, the Provoq is fitted with the latest example of GM's groundbreaking E-Flex propulsion system - half the size of its predecessor, yet producing more power and performance.

The 2008 Abu Dhabi International Motor Show is set to be big hit with car enthusiasts and families alike, and if debuts for the CTS-V, H3T, Escalade Platinum and Provoq Concept weren't enough, among the other class-leading models on display on the Liberty Abu Dhabi Automobiles Co. stand will be SUV and SUT versions of the iconic HUMMER H2, the award-winning Cadillac CTS luxury sedan and the Cadillac Escalade EXT - a luxury sport utility truck.

About HUMMER
HUMMER is the youngest brand in General Motors' portfolio, and is the fruit of an agreement between the world's largest automaker and AM General in December 1999. The iconic HUMVEE is the original HUMMER, the cornerstone of the brand. Its core values are still largely maintained in current HUMMER line-up, the most capable line-up of off-road vehicles that don't compromise on luxury.

In the Middle East, HUMMER's line-up consists of the H2 which reflected an evolution of the brand making HUMMER more accessible to a wider civilian audience upon its launch in 2003; the midsize H3 that widened the brand's appeal to a an even broader range of owners.

Three years after its reveal as a concept car at the 2004 Greater Los Angeles Auto Show, the production-ready 2009 HUMMER H3T is set to bring its unmistakable style and unmatched capability to the truck market. The H3T is based on the architecture of the popular H3, but features a five-passenger crew cab and a separate 1.5 meter bed. It also is infused with the attributes expected of a HUMMER, including exceptional off-road capability and a premium interior that is as functional as it is comfortable.

At the 2008 North American International Autoshow, HUMMER revealed the HX concept; its vision of an agile, trail-ready, open-air vehicle that fits the lifestyles of everyone who needs or wants to drive off road, in style.
